The Faculty of Sports Science, Yogyakarta State University (FIK UNY), on Wednesday (30/3), held the "Closing of PSSI D License Trainer Course," which took place in the Main Meeting Room of GPLA 3rd floor FIK UNY.

This event was attended by the Dean of FIK UNY, Prof. Dr. Wawan S. Suherman, M.Ed., along with the Deputy Deans, and also attended by high-ranking officials and coaches from PSSI such as Armando Pribadi (Chairman of the PSSI DIY Provincial Football Association), Wahyudi Kurniawan (General Chair of the Sleman Regency Football Association), Kibnu Harto Slamet (PSSI Instructor) and Geovani Akbar (PSSI Assistant Instructor) as well as 30 students and alumni of the Sports Coaching Education (PKO) department who attended the course for three days.

In his speech, Kibnu Susanto said that all the participants who attended the course were extraordinary. He also advised that if later some did not pass in this special, do not be discouraged and could follow again in the following year. He did not forget to add that students who have participated in this training are ready to go directly to the community and become certified reliable trainers who can meet the demands of the community.

When giving his speech, the Dean of FIK explained his hope that through this course, football coaches can be created who can participate in developing national football so that they can make the nation's name proud on the international stage. (Khairani Faizah)
